We look forward to the next ceremony on Sunday 5th June 2022 and also recognising the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Australian Squadrons in Bomber Command.
The annual Bomber Command Commemorative ceremony was held at
11:00am on Sunday 6th June 2021
Bomber Command Memorial, Australian War Memorial
The ceremony serves to commemorate those who served in Bomber Command as air or ground crew, as well as the ongoing recognition to the veterans of WWII Bomber Command.
The Ceremony is open to all who wish to attend.
This year the Last Post Ceremony was on Wednesday 2nd June at 4.45 pm where the service of Sergeant Mervyn Lionel Vivian Hass was commemorated.
